Since our 2007 Strategic plan our neighborhood has seen these major changes

  • Three new public streets: Osten Boulevard, Patsy Williams Way and Luis Ayala Way
  • CIL townhomes
  • Dutch Point rentals and Townhomes
  • 4 new CREC Schools: GHAA, Sports & Medical, River Street, Two Rivers
  • CIL renovated and moved into Rudder Building
  • 139 market-rate apartments outfitted and filled at Colt Gateway
  • Foley Carrier Services relocated to Colt South Armory
  • London Café opened
  • Klingberg Family Center locates in former Rudder Building
  • UCONN moving to Times Building
  • CIL opens CT Center for Non-Profits
  • JCJ Architects moves into East Armory
  • Front Street almost filled with Spotlight Theatre, Capital Grill, and Infinity Hall and other restaurants open
  • Bear’s BBQ open on Arch St
  • Amos Bull House renovation completed
  • East Armory of Colt receives new windows and exterior renovations
